Hello! I'm a freelance artist working in Oahu, Hawaii. I do digital paintings, and sometimes traditional oil painting and watercolor.

I love to draw calming scenes and pensive people. But I also like to experiment with color and mood. My works range from full digital paintings to simple drawings.
About
My name is Emily, but you can call me Rei if you'd like! I'm 28, and a self taught artist living with my husband in Oahu, Hawaii.
Some of my other interests are: science, travel, nature, animation, video games, and cooking.
Besides leisure travel, my husband and I often end up traveling for his work. Because of this, I'm currently working on my Korean for our next move. But I also speak a little Japanese, as that's our favorite country to visit.
I used to be a biologist, so sustainability and environmental science is very important to me.
Overall I'm just enjoying what each new chapter brings in my life.

What to Include in Your Request:
-A summary of your commission, including type, color and shading preferences, subject, pose, expression, a simple description of clothing, and any relevant background info.-Reference pictures, more than 1 is welcome and encouraged.-Feel free to provide me with examples of similar pictures for style reference.-Any deadline expectations. Average turn around is about 1 week.
Commission Process:
-You submit your commission request
-I will e-mail you to accept or decline your commission.
-If I accept I may ask for more info.
-Once accepted, send me payment. Do not send payment before I accept.
-I will send you a rough sketch, and you can suggest edits.
-More complex pieces will have an additional work in progress and editing stage.
I am open to most subject matter but I will refuse commissions that I am uncomfortable with or feel that I could not satisfactorily complete.
